We’ve secured a great rate at the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza in the center of Santa Fe. Participants are required to stay on site unless local. You can book your room at the SJTI rate of $179 beginning August 2024. The SJTI rate is also available for February 1 should you need the travel day or wish to enjoy the Santa Fe area.
Please reach out to the community on the community@sjti.org group or SJTI Alumn Facebook group if you would like to share lodging costs at SJTI Renewal.
Please plan to arrive in Santa Fe by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28 to be settled in for a 6:00 pm opening session. The institute will end at 11:30 am on January 31.
Participants can fly directly into the Santa Fe Regional Airport on either American or United.
The Albuquerque International Sunport is about one hour from Santa Fe.
We suggest taking the train down to Santa Fe if you fly into Albuquerque. Travel times vary but it can take up to two hours.
There is also a shuttle that can take you to Santa Fe.
Self-parking is $20.00 per night. Valet parking is not available.
In order to assist us in developing the curriculum for the weekend and to get a sense of the profile of the participants, we ask you to respond to the questions in the registration form.
While the first SJTI experience included an immersion experience on the dynamics of Race and Racism, the renewal experience will broaden to include all “isms” through challenging activities and engaged discussions true to the SJTI brand!
SJTI works to create a learning environment that supports the needs of all participants. As a tax-exempt organization we are not in the financial position to regularly provide some accommodations, including ASL interpreters. Please contact us if you would like to talk through accommodations and learning needs (sjtiadmin@sjti.org).
